I promised you all to launch a guild event...
So here it is^^

It's called "components hunter"

As the name says it's about hunting down components for istarian techs.
Being the guild crafter, but not the best of hunters I have experienced many times how difficult it is to get tech components >.<
Thus I've been thinking about a rally collecting them^^

What you can get in the event:

First and most importantly:
Fun :D
This contest should bring fun and life to the guild^^

Second:
- The winner will receive a full body armour with techs and tiers of his wish (sadly this is not completely true as I am only lvl 65 craft atm and don’t posses all the formulas and techs there are in Istaria >.< But I'll do my best)
- Second place will get a four-piece armour of his choice
- Third place will get a two-piece armour of his choice

IMPORTANT:
Everyone will in the end get one scale with a tech of their choice!
Otherwise it won’t be fun :D

The Rules and Point system:

The whole competition is easy XD
Collect as many of one tech comp as possible!^^

However that is not all...
To make it fair (so that hatchlings and ancients can compete in this challenge on even terms) I've developed a point system and a few rules...

- For one thing, each only collects one kind of component.
- No component can be collected by two competitors at the same time. Each must have another component to collect.
- You may only collect components! It is not allowed to buy them or use comps you have in storage! (I can control this. Thus I appeal to your sense of fairness!)
- You have to always submit your advent lvl! (the points system is divided up in 5 tiers and half tiers. if you jump from one tire/half tier to another you still have to collect the given component but count from anew (I'll explain the exact ruling below))
- Most Importantly! Be fair! (I can't control if you actually do what the rules say. But for the good of the competition... please be fair.)

The points System:
- Every component from your tier/half tier will give you 1 point.
- Every component from a tier/half tier above your own gives you 1.5 points
- Every component one half tier below yours gives you 0.5 points
- Every component more than a half tier below yours gives no points

The Tiers and Half Tiers:
- Half Tier 1 (T0.5) = lvl 1 -10
- Tier 1 (T1) = lvl 11 -20
- Half Tier 2 (T1.5) = lvl 21 -30
- Tier 2 (T2) = lvl 31 -40
- Half Tier 3 (T2.5) = lvl 41 -50
- Tier 3 (T3) = lvl 51 -60
- Half Tier 4 (T3.5) = lvl 61 -70
- Tier 4 (T4) = lvl 71 -80
- Half Tier 5 (T4.5) = lvl 81 -90
- Tier 5 (T5) = lvl 91 -100

So choose wisely which component you go hunt for, because if you jump a tier during the hunt you will immediately get half a point less for the components you collect from there on. However don’t choose too high because it might get too difficult to collect a lot of this component.
You could say this contest is also about knowing your own limits and abilities as a hunter :D

IMPORTANT!
As mentioned above, if you jump a half tier you may not change the component you hunt for, but have to start counting anew! (That’s the point where fairness is most important as I can’t control it!)

Example1:
1. "dragonX" is lvl 45 and chose to hunt the comps of a T2.5 mob (T2.5=lvl51-60)
2. As he hunts he gets to lvl 51. He collected 13 comps up to now
3. Until the end of the contest he gets to lvl 53 and collects a total of 21 components.
=> He gets 1.5 points for the 13 he collected before reaching lvl 51 (19.5 points) and 1 for the 8 he collected afterwards (8 points) and thus gets a total of 27.5 points

Excample2:
1. "dragonessY" is lvl 65 and chose to hunt the comps of a T3 mob (T3=lvl61-70)
2. As she hunts he gets to lvl 70. She collected 20 comps up to now
3. Until the end of the contest she gets to lvl 73 and collects a total of 38 components.
=> She gets 1 point for the 20 she collected before reaching lvl 70 (20 points) and half a point for the 18 she collected afterwards (9 points) and thus gets a total of 29 points

Point counting:
I'll be on Istaria every weekend. Collected comps only count once they are given to me personally!
The event will go for about 3 or 4 weeks. At which’s end I'll announce the winner. (I'll give a warning the weekend before it ends and last minute entries are allowed XD)

Entering the contest:
You just have to tell me your name, current advent lvl and component you want to hunt (check the list of entries first to choose a component no one else has chosen yet)

Welcome to my (the guild crafter's) blog^^

Yawe fellow guild members^^

I am Windridres Brightscale, the guilds crafter.

Currently I'm helping Kalana to improve the guild, even thought sadly I can't be on istaria all the time. but we can't do it alone.. we need your help to "craft" our guild^^

Also, as I say inmy profile, my passion is not adventuring, as most other dragons, but crafting. So, whenever you need anything to be crafted ask me and I'll do what I can^^ (as I said above I dont have infinate time on istaria so forgive me if some things take a while. Also, I reached craft lvl 60 recently, so I'm not yet in master crafting sadly >.<)

Finally, what propably will take up most of this blog is event planning.^^

I have a few events planned out in order to enliven the guild activitys^^ and Kalana gave me the OK to launch them^^

I'll be talking about these events her on my blog and if you all think we should launche one of them I'll do it^^

So...
